San Diego's Pacific Beach and Downtown Skyline

We are enjoying a short vacation in beautiful San Diego. Spent Sunday morning on Mission Bay, stand-up paddling with my husband, step-daughter and step-son.

After paddling we had lunch at a little Greek bistro, then walked over to Pacific Beach boardwalk.

Later we went to dinner in Point Loma at a wonderful seafood shop and experienced this unbelievable sunset that set downtown San Diego buildings aglow.

      Lia, SD is a magical place. I’m very lucky I grew up there. I love Northern California but we love to be able to come visit 2-3 times a year and stay with family. SUPing on Mission Bay was on my bucket list.

        Oh I see! San Diego is indeed so pretty. I went when I was about 15… I remember Sea World and a lovely fountain in the square in town… And of course the stunning sunshine!

      I was born there and lived there til I was 20. Moved to Northern Cal. We love visiting family in San Diego and the weather has been wonderful this week. My poor phone is tired from all the pics I’m taking! 🙂 And jealous you lived in PB!!

        I was so busy raising two young kids that I didn’t experience all that I would have liked – but no regrets – it was great living there.
